Mural: “NUESTRA HUELLA: ¿QUÉ ES PARA TI CRECER?”
(Our Trace: What Does It Mean to Grow?)

At IES Grupo Cántico, a work emerged beyond a single classroom and a single school year, remaining as a trace for those who will come after it. It began in the classroom — through drawing, listening, and translating emotions into images — and gradually grew into a shared vision.

The work speaks of growth — both personal and collective. Trees, leaves, and gestures of care reflect the journey of students growing together over time.

More than a mural, it is a message: a reminder that school is a space of trust, support, and shared experience.

It remains as a trace, a gift to future students, the school, and the wider community.

Mural: “ESCOLA TEMPO”

“Escola Tempo” (School of Time) explores time as a space between past and future.
From sketches and grids to 0s and 1s. From paper drafts to memory cards of the present. From wool to threads for 3D printing. From simple tools to technologies that expand the limits of knowledge.

The work challenges time as a fixed point. It belongs neither to the past nor the future — it moves between them, much like the school itself, connecting different disciplines and ways of thinking.

On the wall, it appears as a photograph — a captured moment. On the screen, it gains a new breath and comes to life, becoming a space where different times meet and overlap.

Mural: “The Robot Boy”

The work emerged through a shared creative process, gradually shaping the figure of “Robot Boy” — a symbol of the meeting point between human creativity and technological innovation.

From dialogue, sketches, and experimentation, an image takes form, connecting different approaches and ways of thinking. Individual roles naturally overlap and merge into a collective whole.

At its core remains a shared creative experience. “Robot Boy” reflects a vision of the future — one in which technology does not replace human imagination, but expands its possibilities. It becomes a symbol of balance between creativity and innovation.

Mural: “ST. SOUL CREW”

The mural explores two key ideas: freedom and unity.

Freedom is symbolized by a bird in flight — an image of release, hope, and the ability to overcome boundaries. Unity is expressed through the name “Street Soul Crew”, formed by layers of colour that merge individuality into a shared whole.

A striking figure with a skull motif introduces the theme of fear and its overcoming.

The work creates a space for shared identity, where experience transforms into image and creation becomesan act of freedom.

Mural: “One Man’s Waste, Another Man’s Treasure”

From discarded textiles found in the school storage, a new whole emerges. More than 600 fragments gradually took shape — each differently, each in its own way. On their own, they appear as fragments; together, they form an image that could not exist otherwise.
A large-scale abstract portrait captures the moment between who we were and who we are becoming.

Material once meant to be forgotten gains new meaning. Recycling becomes a process of transformation — of material and of the individual.
A record of transformation.
Of material. Of the individual. Of the group.
Perhaps it will change over time. Perhaps it will disappear.
But for now, it captures a single moment —
a moment when fragments become a whole.
